The mission of the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America is to foster new cultural impulse for the work with the young child from pre-birth to age seven. Based on an anthroposophical understanding of human development, WECAN is committed to protecting and nurturing childhood as a foundation for renewing human culture. During accreditation, Little Lions must complete a rigorous self-examination of our centres including policies, practices, governance, finances as well as our commitment to the Waldorf philosophy. We submit this report to WECAN along with an independent report done by a Waldorf expert. The last inspection was done by Bernadette Raichle of Awhina in New Zealand.
