Little Lions has worked with several city departments over the past 10 years, with very successful outcomes. Through our involvement with projects such as the Big Boreal Adventure, we have worked with Parks, Recreation, Archives, Transit and Historical Advisory Committee. Without their cooperation, we could never have made such a success of the Big Boreal Adventure so our thanks goes out to the City of Thunder Bay!
In June of 2015, Mayor Hobbs endorsed our “Weed Out Hate” campaign and we partnered with the city to “Plant Seeds of Peace” in gardens in Thunder Bay. We expect this to continue and expand in 2016. Watch for our flag flying at City Hall on Weed Out Hate Day!
